CareerTrackers links First Nations students from year 12 and throughout university with employers related to their aspirations for paid, multi-year internships.

We are with you the whole way! We provide world-class training throughout your academic career and will connect you with a global network of like-minded First Nations professionals.

Throughout your academic journey, a dedicated advisor will help you define your career and work with you to achieve your goals.

We work with over 200 employment partners and universities across Australia.

We also partner with the CSIRO to deliver the Young Indigenous Women’s STEM Academy, which empowers First Nations women in Years 9 to 12 with tools and support to succeed in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education and careers.

Over the last decade, we’re celebrating the hundreds of Alumni who have formed our community.

To be eligible for the program, you need to be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, studying at high school or university, and making continuous progress towards completion of your studies.

Natasha Ward

Natasha is an intern at Bupa in Melbourne and is completing a double degree in Education and Science at Monash University.

Natasha is passionate about Reconciliation and inspiring change through her students.

In 2018, she was invited to share this passion, speaking about her family’s experience with the Stolen Generations to survivors of the Stolen Generations, the Prime Minister and First Nations leaders.

Ashley Hansen

At 41, Ashley decided to change careers from construction and manufacturing and Bachelor of Information Technology, majoring in Application Development, at Central Queensland University.

Ashley chose the field of IT due to his desire to understand how technology works and his passion for the creative processes within this field.

Ashley was offered an internship with Telstra, and within 5 weeks of starting, Ash was offered a graduate role. So impressed that within five weeks of him commencing his internship, Ashley was offered a graduate position within his internship team.

Kyran Dixon

2018 Young Australian of the Year for South Australia, Kyran is an alumnus of the CareerTrackers program – he completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in History and Politics.

Now a consultant in the Risk and Internal Audit Practice at EY, Kyran shares the story of his battle with cancer and how he has stayed motivated in the face of incredible obstacles.
